Shellac polish
-
Apply the recommended cuticle oil to your nails twice a day, especially at night. This will ensure your nails stay nourished, flexible and will prevent premature lifting/chipping.
-
Wear rubber gloves to protect your nails when washing/cleaning
-
Look after your nails and avoid using them as tools.
-
Avoid hot baths, sunbeds, saunas and hot tubs which can fade the colour and contribute to lifting/chipping
-
Wash your hands thoroughly after you have been in contact with sun cream, tinted lotion, coloured hair products or whilst cooking with some spices. Certain products contain ingredients or pigment which can potentially cause your gel polish to discolour, fade or weaken.
-
Always dry your hands thoroughly after washing them
-
If you accidentally chip a nail refrain from peeling or picking the gel polish as this will damage your natural nails and cause the product to become weak. If you have a rough edge you can try to gently file it to avoid catching the nail but try not to break the seal on the free edge too much.
-
Avoid removing the gel polish yourself as damage to your natural nail will likely be caused. Please make an appointment for a removal service in salon.
-
Try not to exceed the recommended removal time for this nail system
Please note: Should you experience any unexpected chips within 7 days of application please contact the salon for a free nail repair. After this time a small fee will be charged. (Please see price list)
Important; If you experience an abnormal reaction from your treatment please consult your doctor/pharmacist and notify the salon of your experience.
