Shellac polish

This power-polish nail system cures under an LED lamp and results in a high shine, natural finish.

Shellac will last approximately  2-3 weeks on the hands and between 4-6 weeks on the feet, if all aftercare advice is followed. (Please see aftercare section)

If you experience any unexpected chips within 7 days of application please contact the salon for a free nail repair service.

Please note; The health of your natural nail plate and your lifestyle will usually determine how well your Shellac polish performs. In some cases you may be advised to purchase a home strengthening product before going ahead with this service.

Shellac manicure

60-75 mins

Nails are filed to your desired shape and full cuticle work is carried out using high-quality, sterilised industry tools. Your nails are thoroughly cleansed ready for your chosen polish to be applied.  Cuticle oil may then be massaged into your cuticles allowing the ingredients to penetrate the skin.

Shellac pedicure (dry) 

75-90 mins

Your feet are sanitised and any areas of built-up hard skin are exfoliated using an e-file. Your nails are shaped and full cuticle work is carried out using high-quality, sterilised industry tools, preparing them for the application of your chosen polish. To complete this service, a mini foot massage is carried out leaving your feet perfectly cared for.

* Please note that in some cases you may be advised to visit a podiatrist before this service is carried out.

 

Removal

This Shellac polish removal service is highly recommended in order to maintain the protection of your nail plate following any application. It also enables me to assess your nail health and ensure they are suitable for reapplication of Shellac polish, if desired. 

Please note; Wishing Well Beauty only works with Shellac polish and therefore can not remove gel extensions, overlays or acrylic nails.

 

If you require Shellac/gel polish removal which is the equivalent to the CND brand and removes effortlessly then you will be charged the same for soak off - my work (Please see price list). However, if your Shellac/gel polish is stubborn and the removal service exceeds 10-15 minutes then you will be charged for soak/file off (other).

For best results and to maintain optimal health of your nail plate; please return (if possible) to the nail technician who applied your nail product.  

 

Shellac repair

Should you happen to experience any unexpected chips within 7 days of your gel polish application please make an appointment for a nail repair free of charge. After this time a small fee will be charged.
